Job summary

Scientific Search is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor in the Malvern, PA area to lead QA Technicians and oversee food safety operations across locations. The role emphasizes inspections, audits, CAPA, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced setting.

You will drive root cause analyses, maintain BRC readiness, and develop SOPs to standardize processes. Requires 5 years QA auditing experience and a bachelor’s in Food Science, with HACCP/PCQI preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field required.
• Strong understanding of quality testing in the food industry including microbiology and sensory evaluation.
• Ability to lead others through change and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Quality Assurance Technicians in daily activities.
• Conducts inspections, audits, root cause analyses, and CAPA activities.
• Maintains BRC certification and supports audit readiness.
• Performs monthly environmental swabbing and reporting; supports customer and third‑party audits.
• Develops SOPs and work instructions to standardize quality processes.
