Job summary

Levita Magnetics in Mountain View, CA, is hiring a Sr Quality Inspector to support incoming materials, components, and subassemblies for our Magnetic Surgery products. You will perform receiving inspections, document results, and assist in calibration and quality record maintenance in a clean, controlled environment.

The role requires 4–6 years of QC experience in regulated medical devices, proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and GD&T, and a high school diploma or GED (Associates preferred).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; tech degree preferred.
• 4–6 years of QC inspection in a regulated medical device setting.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional, visual, and attribute inspections per plans.
• Verify Device History Records for accuracy and compliance.
• Verify certificates of conformance and supplier documentation.
• Identify, segregate, and disposition nonconforming materials; initiate MRB/NCRs.
• Apply status labels to inspected materials per QMS procedures.
• Maintain quality records to meet traceability requirements.
• Maintain calibration equipment and coordinate maintenance.
• Coordinate calibration and preventive maintenance programs.
