Job summary

Strata-G, LLC is seeking a highly experienced Senior Quality Assurance Inspector to oversee QA/QC activities supporting DOE missions. The role requires an active DOE Q clearance, a deep background in nuclear quality standards (NQA-1), and at least 10 years of hands-on QA/QC experience within the DOE complex.

You will ensure that engineering, manufacturing, construction, and operational activities comply with regulatory and institutional quality requirements, including NQA-1 and ISO 9001, while

Qualifications

• Active DOE Q clearance required.
• Minimum of 10 years of QA/QC experience in DOE or nuclear environments.
• Hands-on experience with nuclear quality standards (NQA‑1) and ISO 9001.
• Strong auditing and documentation review capabilities.
• Excellent communication with federal oversight teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex inspections of materials, components, and processes to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and procedures.
• Ensure operations comply with NQA‑1 and ISO 9001 quality management systems and related DOE directives.
• Lead or participate in internal and external quality audits and assessments.
• Identify, document, and track non-conformances; initiate CAPA and ensure closure.
• Review quality records and cooperate with Engineering, Project Management, and Operations to improve processes.
