Job summary

Hudl is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to own end-to-end quality for the North American Sports product team. You will drive automated testing across UI, APIs, and data pipelines, mentor teammates, and collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted testing and scalable quality practices. Expect hands-on leadership in test strategy, risk-based testing, and rapid feedback cycles to ensure reliable software for coaches and analysts.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software testing experience across the full stack — API testing, backend and data-heavy systems, and front-end validation.
• Proficiency in automation frameworks like Playwright and languages like Python or TypeScript.
• Led testing initiatives end-to-end and defined success criteria to reduce production risk.
• Ability to drive quality discussions in cross-functional teams and scrum ceremonies.
• Experience using AI tools to improve test case creation, failure diagnosis, and documentation.
• Strong user-focused testing mindset and investigative rigor to identify root causes.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality initiatives; build risk-based testing strategies and drive quality discussions.
