Job summary

Global Payments in Mexico seeks a software engineer to participate in the full software development life cycle, designing, coding, debugging, and validating applications. You will collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver internal and external client software solutions across multiple languages and databases.

You will contribute to PCI compliance and performance improvements, while applying best practices in development, testing and documentation.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business / MIS or related field; typically 4+ years of professional coding experience.
Advanced knowledge of one or more front/back end languages and APIs; familiarity with multiple technologies.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

Develops code across multiple platforms and languages in collaboration with business and technology teams.
Designs, creates, and delivers program specifications for code development and support.
Analyses, modifies and develops code with unit tests and documentation.
Participates in client meetings and vendor partnerships to determine solution approaches.
Ensures PCI security standards and data compliance in development.
