Job summary

You will design test cases, run functional and regression testing, manage defects in Jira or TestRail, and contribute to API testing with Postman, while embracing Agile practices and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on manual testing for web and mobile apps.
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC and defect life cycle.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development.
• Experience with test management and bug-tracking tools (Jira, TestRail).
• Knowledge of API testing and Postman.
• Basic SQL for database testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for web and mobile apps.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and integration testing.
• Report, track, and manage defects using bug-tracking tools like Jira/TestRail.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and improve usability.
• Document test results and prepare reports on test execution.
• Identify process improvements to enhance test coverage.
• Conduct API testing using Postman (if applicable).
• Participate in UAT and help improve QA processes.
