As an Engineering Manager, you will lead and develop a team of software engineers, set technical direction with Senior/Staff engineers, and ensure high engineering standards across design reviews, testing, observability, security, and delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or managing software engineers.
• Ability to coach engineers, manage performance, and support career development.
• Strong background designing, building, and operating production software.
• Experience with web apps, backend services, APIs, or distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of software engineers through 1:1s, coaching, and performance management.
• Drive career development plans and growth opportunities for engineers.
• Set expectations, recognize performance, address gaps, and lead performance reviews.
• Foster an inclusive, accountable team environment for collaboration.
• Partner with recruiting to hire strong engineers and onboard new team members.
• Align engineering capacity with priorities and ownership assignments.
