Job summary

Diabolocom is seeking a Senior QA Engineer for the Core Squad to architect and drive test automation across UI, API, and integration layers. You will collaborate with backend, frontend, and DevOps to ensure robust quality for distributed, high-throughput telecom and AI-enabled services.

You will design risk-based test strategies, implement scalable automated tests in Kotlin/Java, and help shape the testing pyramid while maintaining fast feedback cycles and reliable pipelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience, with at least 3 years as a test automation engineer.
• Strong coding skills in a JVM language (Kotlin/Java) and ability to read production code.
• Experience building test suites across the testing pyramid (unit to UI/e2e).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, test reporting, and quality gates.
• At least 1 year of Selenium experience.
• Proactive bug hunter mindset and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Co-design test strategies with the team for new features and refactorings.
• Implement and maintain automated tests in Kotlin at multiple levels.
• Challenge designs and solutions from a risk and testability perspective.
• Continuously improve pipelines, tooling, and test reliability.
