Vitesse Systems, LLC is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead all aspects of quality for electro-mechanical actuators and drive reliability across the product lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on leadership, expertise in mechanical design and GD&T, and a proven track record in product development, quality systems, and supplier quality. This position is based in Harbor City, CA, with strong emphasis on process robustness and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 7–10 years in design, product development, manufacturing engineering, and quality in low-volume, high-complexity environments.
• Experience with mechanical/electro-mechanical systems, actuators, product launches, and suppliers in relevant industries.
• Expertise in DFMEA/PFMEA, design for robustness and reliability, and analytics in reliability testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of quality engineers interfacing with product engineering, manufacturing engineering, and supplier quality teams.
• Drive development and qualification of processes and parts, including design reviews and test plans.
• Ensure product quality from concept through design, development, manufacturing to field use.
