Data Systems Analysts, Inc. (DSA) seeks a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer and Tester to support the U.S. Army's Scalable GEOINT Architecture at Fort Gordon, GA.

Lead QA activities, develop automation, and integrate security testing into DevSecOps pipelines for mission-critical software. The ideal candidate has strong QA, DevOps, Python automation, CI/CD development, and automated security testing experience to ensure performance, security, and release readiness across Windows, RHEL,

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.

Mansioni

• Develop, implement, and maintain software quality assurance strategies, test plans, schedules, and procedures.
• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual testing to validate functionality, security, performance, and reliability.
• Build and maintain production-like testing environments representing operational systems.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting automated testing and deployment.
• Develop Python scripts and automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and repeatability.
• Integrate automated security testing and vulnerability assessment tools into SDLC workflows.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and compatibility testing across platforms.
• Validate software compatibility across Windows, Windows Server, RHEL, hardware, and network environments.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution using defect mgmt processes.
• Maintain centralized repository of defects, test results, and corrective actions.
• Establish quality standards and release-readiness criteria before deployment.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on functionality, usability, and risks.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot defects and verify corrective actions.
• Investigate issues reported by field personnel and government customers.
• Support testing of containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Review documentation and release materials for accuracy and compliance.
• Support testing in STIG-hardened environments and CCB processes.
• Coordinate with government stakeholders to communicate progress and risk.
