Job summary

DANE LLC is seeking a highly experienced QA / Test Engineer to join our agile quality engineering team in Arlington, VA. This role involves a balance of automated and manual testing in a complex application environment. The ideal candidate will support and improve quality engineering practices while collaborating closely with developers and other stakeholders.

This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring on-site presence one day a week. A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, along with an Active DoD Secret Clearance, are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of experience as a QA / Test Engineer or in a similar role.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium and Cypress.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams to document and execute test cases.
• Design and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Report and track defects using Azure DevOps and/or Jira.

Skills

Automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Postman/Newman)

Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines

Experience testing REST APIs

Experience with defect tracking tools (Azure DevOps, Jira)

Containerized test execution (Docker, Kubernetes)

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
