Job summary

Apple is seeking a Quality Engineer to own quality across demo delivery pipelines in Apple Stores worldwide. You will design and drive automated coverage across OS-regression cycles, production and delivery pipelines, engineering toolchains, and OTA distribution mechanisms for every major release.

In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure quality across iOS/iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS, while shaping logs, diagnostics, and release-readiness communication

Qualifications

7+ years in software quality engineering, test automation, or software development.
Demonstrated technical leadership defining quality strategy for multiple systems or release pipelines.
Experience mentoring QA engineers on automation and build-pipeline literacy.
Proficient in Python and Swift, collaborating across engineering teams.
Experience validating across Apple platforms and deployment lifecycles.

Responsibilities

Set the strategy and quality bar for bundle composition, OTA distribution, and OS-regression validation across all Apple platforms.
Design, author, and maintain end-to-end automation across the bundle and OTA pipeline, balancing automation with exploratory testing.
Lead OS regression across every major release, raising bugs and coordinating fixes with partner teams.
Influence engineering partners on tooling design; shape logs and diagnostics for observability.
Report release-readiness to leadership and stakeholders, translating coverage and risk into go/no-go decisions.
