Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced QA Engineer/Developer to lead both manual and automated testing for a federal healthcare program. You will drive test strategies, build automation, validate APIs and security, and ensure accessibility compliance across the SDLC.

This remote role requires strong leadership and collaboration with government partners to meet stringent quality standards. You will oversee defect management, produce master test plans, and guide testing teams toward consistent best

Qualifications

• 8-15 years of software testing experience with automation, planning, and design.
• Experience leading QA across multiple projects and SDLC.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries for data validation.
• Experience with API, security, regression, and accessibility testing.
• Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility requirements.
• Strong communication with developers, PMs, and government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead manual and automated testing across the SDLC.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and plans.
• Build automation scripts and testing frameworks.
• Prepare master test plans and project-wide documentation.
• Manage test environments and data preparation.
• Provide senior QA leadership and guidance.
• Coordinate test reviews, walkthroughs, and change control.
• Track and prioritize defects with timely resolution.
