Job summary

Hudl is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our North American Sports product team. This role focuses on automation-driven quality, supporting analytics and Recruit products for American Football, helping coaches and analysts make faster, data-driven decisions.

You’ll own quality end-to-end, drive risk-based testing strategies, and raise the team's standards. Remote work is possible for US residents with Lincoln/Omaha prioritization.

Qualifications

• Our candidate has 4+ years of software testing across API, backend, data-heavy systems and front-end validation.
• Experience leading testing initiatives end-to-end and defining success criteria.
• Ability to root-cause complex problems with data-driven evidence.
• Familiarity with AI tools for test case creation, failure diagnosis, and documentation.
• Understanding of performance testing concepts and tools like JMeter.
• Passion for sports tech and knowledge of basketball or football is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality initiatives with risk-based testing strategies tailored to the squad.
• Design and execute tests across UI, API, backend services, and data pipelines.
• Coach teammates and elevate quality standards across the team.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Design; contribute to hiring and personal development.
