Qualifications

• 10+ years in software or quality engineering.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated tests for web apps.
• Hands-on API test automation with Playwright or similar.
• Strong JavaScript knowledge and testing patterns.
• Experience with distributed systems and SOA.
• Excellent communication across engineering, product and platform teams.
• Automation-first mindset with CI/CD quality gates.
• Interest in AI-assisted testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Contribute as an active agile team member, shaping user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Build, maintain, and improve automated test suites for web and API layers.
• Drive automation-first quality engineering to reduce manual effort and accelerate feedback.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, backend and platform engineers to validate requirements.
• Enable shift-left testing and early defect detection during feature implementation.
• Develop service virtualization, mocks, and test data strategies across dependencies.
• Contribute to test strategy, estimation, and planning with quality risk assessments.
• Promote best practices for test maintainability, CI health, and observability.
