Job summary

Komodo Consulting is seeking a QA Engineer to join a technology project in Lisbon, Porto, Braga or Coimbra. Hybrid work, 2 days per week in the office.

The role covers automated and manual testing across UI and API, with a strong emphasis on performance testing using JMeter and AI-driven techniques. You will collaborate with developers, analysts and DevOps to ensure early defect detection, test documentation, and traceability throughout delivery.

Qualifications

• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for functional and non-functional requirements.
• Build and maintain robust test automation frameworks for UI (Selenium) and API (Newman) testing.
• Plan and execute performance tests (load and stress) based on non-functional requirements using JMeter.
• Analyse performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and DevOps to enable early defect detection and quality.
• Apply AI-driven testing techniques to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Manage defect reporting and ensure full requirements traceability and test documentation.
