Job summary

SolomonEdwards is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to scale the testing discipline across a high-availability platform used by enterprise customers. You will blend manual testing rigor with automation and AI-assisted tooling to improve release quality and developer velocity.

You will design tests, build automation components, and integrate QA into CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with Eng/Prod/DevOps to ensure data integrity and robust test coverage. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

7+ years of quality engineering across web/mobile testing and automation.
Hands-on with Playwright and Appium.
CI/CD integration experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Strong SQL and relational database skills.
Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

Perform functional, integration, regression, usability, and E2E testing across web, mobile, API, and backend systems.
Design and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API layers.
Build reusable automation components and enhance existing frameworks.
Conduct API/integration testing for RESTful services & microservices.
Validate data integrity using SQL and database testing techniques.
Partner with Engineering, Product, and DevOps to embed quality into CI/CD pipelines.
Identify, document, and track defects; support root cause analysis.
Maintain clear documentation of test cases, results, and quality metrics.
