UST in Washington state is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead testing efforts across API, UI, and data validation. The role requires hands-on experience with Cosmos DB, SQL, Postman, Swagger, and Azure DevOps, plus strong collaboration with engineering teams.

You will design test strategies, execute end-to-end tests, validate CI/CD pipelines, and monitor performance with Azure Application Insights. This full-time on-site position offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive compensation

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Software Quality Assurance.
• 8+ years with Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Hands-on Cosmos DB experience.
• Strong SQL querying for data validation.
• Experience validating CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise in test strategy, planning, and execution.
• Git branching and version control familiarity.
• Azure Application Insights for monitoring.
• REST API testing with Postman/Swagger.
• UI testing of web applications.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies, plans, and cases from requirements.
• Perform end-to-end functional, regression, integration, system tests.
• Execute API testing using Postman/Swagger.
• Perform UI testing across web apps for functionality and UX.
• Validate data with Cosmos DB and SQL queries.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and verify fixes.
• Use Azure DevOps for test management, defects, sprints, releases.
• Validate CI/CD pipeline executions and deployment verification.
• Monitor app behavior with Azure Application Insights.
