cultivate is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, implement, and optimize test strategies for a remote-first tech client in New York. The role emphasizes Cypress.io and Selenium automation, REST API testing, and aggressive quality metrics to support production releases.

You will work within an Agile/Scrum team, drive automation across CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to product quality through robust test data, live links to projects, and a focus on scalable, high-quality

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in QA and Automation.
• 3–5 years experience with extreme programming.
• Automation experience in Cypress.io or Selenium.
• Experience with JavaScript or Python.
• Exposure to BDD principles and REST APIs.
• Understanding of databases, sessions and tokens.
• Proven track record shipping applications to production.
• Scrum framework with Agile practices.
