Job summary

Mphasis is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineering - Sr Associate to contribute to testing across functional, regression, security, and performance areas in an Online Banking context. The role focuses on hands-on testing, test case creation, and collaboration with product teams.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of experience in software testing, exposure to Scrum, and solid knowledge of QA lifecycle and automation concepts.

Qualifications

• Experience in software testing and exposure to QA practices.
• Hands-on in functional, regression, security/performance testing.
• Exposure to Online Banking Domain.
• Experience with test case design, test scripts execution and basic SQL.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design reviews, test case reviews, and interactions with BU, client and stakeholders.
• Track progress against assigned tasks, report status, and proactively identify issues to Product Owners and management.
• Coordinate and contribute to defect management and test metrics.

Quality Assurance Engineering - Sr Associate (Grade 4) [Experience: 4-6 Years; Individual Contributor role]

• Experience in software testing


• Exposure to Scrum process


• Good knowledge of SDLC and QA practices and Hands-on exposure


• Experienced working on Online Banking Domain


• Hands-on in functional, regression, Security/Performance testing of highly technically products


• Exposure to QA tools (Bug Tracking, Test Management, Script Management, etc.)

• Experience and willingness to work on creating test cases, test scripts and execute them >Basic SQL & Product Installation knowledge >Exposure to Test & Defect Management Tools and Ms Excel >Exposure to test automation (Selenium and CALISA) >Good knowledge of Software Test Lifecycle including Test Strategy, Test Planning, Test Case Design, Test Data Setup, Defect Management, Test Logs, Test Results, Test Traceability Matrix and Test Metrics. >Experience in Test Automation (Selenium/Java).Exposure to Online Banking Domain. >Exposure on configuration management tools >Hands-on experience on Functional, Non-functional, Regression, Smoke/Sanity Testing. >Good working knowledge on manual testing process, automation testing life cycle and automation estimations. >Understand the requirement through difference source of information/documents available with the team. >Participate in all design reviews, test case reviews, interaction with BU, client and stakeholders >Track progress against assigned tasks, report status, and proactively identify issues to the Product Owners and management team.
