Job summary

vTech Solution is seeking a Software Quality Assurance/Functional Tester to develop QA plans and automated test cases for healthcare domain applications. The role emphasizes advanced system testing and strong automation experience using Selenium, UFT, or similar tools.

The ideal candidate will design test plans, execute regression tests, track defects with metrics, and support SDLC processes in Agile and Waterfall environments in the Washington, DC area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Strong automation experience and healthcare domain knowledge.
• Experience in designing and executing test plans and procedures.
• Hands-on automation with HP QTP/UFT, TestComplete or Selenium.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA plans and test procedures.
• Design, develop, and execute automated tests from requirements.
• Lead testing efforts including functional and automated testing.
• Design UI testing and regression testing strategies.
• Provide defect status and quality metrics to project manager.
• Conduct audits and assess software development process compliance.
• Test across browser, web, mobile, and portal frameworks.
• Provide production support by reproducing reported defects.
• Participate in design reviews and testing summary reports.
• Contribute to SDLC in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
