Job summary

Axiom Path is seeking a Quality Engineer to support and validate multiple business applications in a fast-moving Agile environment. You will work across a diverse portfolio, building automation and performing API and UI testing while aligning with established QA practices.

This six-month contract offers a hybrid on-site schedule (four days/week) and opportunities to deepen data automation, API testing, and CI/CD integration using modern tooling and automation frameworks.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Quality Assurance experience within technical software environments.
• Strong hands-on SQL expertise, including joins and multi-table queries.
• At least 3 years of data integration, ETL, or database testing experience.
• At least 3 years of API testing experience.
• Hands-on experience creating automated test scripts and automating tests.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or comparable test-management and delivery platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated and manual test cases across multiple enterprise applications.
• Translate requirements into SQL queries to validate data behavior.
• Perform database/ETL validation using complex SQL with multi-table joins.
• Test APIs: definitions, auth, parameters, payloads, responses, and DB results.
• Develop automation scripts and reusable testing components per established frameworks.
• Execute automated testing through CI/CD pipelines and maintain QA artifacts in Azure DevOps.
• Move between applications and user stories within an Agile sprint.
• Learn existing frameworks quickly and apply QA standards.
