Job summary

You will lead design, implement automation strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust test coverage and reliable releases.

The role demands 10+ years in QA automation, strong Python framework skills, and experience with CI/CD pipelines and banking domain requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of QA automation testing experience in complex environments.
• Hands-on Python automation framework development.
• Strong API testing with REST/SOAP, Postman and automation tools.
• Experience with PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium or Playwright.
• Expertise in API validation, data verification and backend testing.
• Proficient in SQL and database validations.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Version control with Git; familiarity with Jira/ALM/Azure DevOps.
• Banking/financial services domain knowledge; Agile/Scrum familiarity.
• Defect tracking and test management proficiency; mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of automation frameworks using Python.
• Define and maintain API automation test strategies for banking applications.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to define test coverage.
• Review test cases and automation scripts; drive defect resolution with development teams.
