Job summary

Appteon Inc. is seeking an experienced software tester to Design, develop, and maintain test plans and automated scripts for web and cloud applications. The role emphasizes regression, integration, performance, and API testing using Selenium, Postman, JUnit, and TestNG across Windows and cloud environments.

You will collaborate with development and business teams, support UAT, and contribute to QA process improvements, with a strong focus on accessibility and Section 508 compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing.
• 2+ years of experience with Selenium for automation testing.
• 1+ year of experience in accessibility testing, ensuring compliance with Section 508 standards.
• Proficient in using Selenium, Postman, JUnit, TestNG, or SoapUI for robust testing across web and mobile platforms.
• Experience designing/maintaining automation frameworks: data/keyword-driven, hybrid, and Page Object Model.
• Strong programming skills: Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL, and shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Execute manual and automated testing across web and cloud-based applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects, coordinating with developers for resolution.
• Develop and implement automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency and CI/CD coverage.
• Support UAT by coordinating with business users and validating production readiness.
• Conduct usability and cross-browser testing to ensure accessibility and compliance.
• Assist in risk management activities throughout SDLC with focus on test design and tool selection.
• Contribute to process improvements in testing methodologies and tooling.
