Job summary

Milliman IntelliScript seeks a QA tester to design, execute, and document test cases for web and API features across a SaaS platform. You will perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing, with Postman for APIs, SQL for data validation, and Jira for defect tracking, within an Agile team.

You’ll contribute to test automation planning, participate in ceremonies, and collaborate with developers to ensure quality releases while working remotely with occasional travel to

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software quality assurance or software testing experience.
• Experience manually testing web-based applications.
• Experience testing APIs with Postman or similar tool.
• Ability to craft effective test cases and scenarios from requirements.
• Experience with functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Defect management in Jira or similar tool.
• Working knowledge of SQL for test data and validation.
• Experience using generative AI tools to support testing with human review.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, maintain, and execute test cases for new features, enhancements, integrations, and regression coverage.
• Perform functional, exploratory, integration, smoke, regression, and end-to-end testing across web UIs and APIs.
• Validate user workflows, business rules, field behavior, navigation, error handling, usability, and cross-browser behavior.
• Test REST APIs using Postman, including requests, responses, status codes, payloads, authentication, validation, or negatives.
• Use SQL and logs to validate data and investigate issues across app layers.
• Review requirements, stories, acceptance criteria, and designs to identify gaps and risks.
• Create clear defect reports with expected vs actual results and business impact.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes.
• Maintain test cases and results in Zephyr or other test management tools.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and release readiness input.
• Identify stable test scenarios for automation and contribute to UI/API automation.
