Job summary

Veltris is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with 6–12 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium. The ideal candidate will have strong Java and JavaScript skills and a proven track record of building automation frameworks from scratch, delivering robust test coverage.

You will collaborate with Product, Development, and DevOps teams, integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and participate in agile ceremonies

Qualifications

• 6–12 years of experience in software QA automation.
• Proficient with Playwright for modern web automation.
• Strong Selenium WebDriver expertise.
• Proficient in Java and JavaScript for test scripting.
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts with Java and JavaScript.
• Create comprehensive test scenarios and cases from requirements.
• Automate functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Identify, track, and report defects with analysis.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and backlog grooming.
• Ensure QA standards and automation guidelines are followed.
