Job summary

Ness Digital Engineering in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior QA Analyst to lead testing efforts for web applications and APIs. You will design and execute manual and automated tests, build test data, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to close issues and track progress.

The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and hands-on experience with UI automation and API testing using Postman, Selenium, or Playwright. A background in JavaScript and .NET is beneficial.

Qualifications

• B.E with 4-6 years of experience in Testing and Automation for web applications.
• Proficient with API automation tools such as Postman with hands-on JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience in JavaScript, .NET framework, Selenium or Playwright.
• Experience with SQL Server, data sets and queries.
• Proficient with UI automation tools such as Playwright and Selenium.
• Experience in code management tools like TFS & GIT.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies, standards, and best practices.
• Good analytical and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in Agile software development process.

Responsibilities

• Develop Test Plan, Test Scripts, Test Cases and Test Data for manual and automated testing.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to close issues and track follow-ups.
• Capable of functioning as an individual and a strong team player with excellent communication.
• Develop deep product knowledge over a period.
• Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
• Developing Traceability Matrix and defect metrics report to identify latency and slippage of defects.
• Perform System, Functionality, Integration, GUI/UI and Regression testing (manual and automation).
