Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions in alignment with QA Center of Excellence standards. You will bridge the gap between manual QA and development by delivering reliable production-grade automation assets across web, mobile, and API testing.

You will implement robust automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Appium, drive BDD scenarios with Cucumber, and integrate with CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining automation assets aligned with QA Center of Excellence standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, testing, and upgrades of software and patches.
• Develop and maintain mobile and API automation scripts with Java/C#, Selenium, and Appium.
• Create and execute BDD scenarios with Cucumber for cross-functional collaboration.
• Automate API tests with Rest Assured and validate backend data integrity.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins).
• Analyze results, identify root causes, and assist defect resolution with QA and project teams.
• Collaborate to define testing strategies, deliverables, and quality gates for enterprise apps.
• Champion shift-left and test data management to accelerate automation adoption.
