Job summary

US Mobile is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to own the end-to-end automation framework from day one. You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps to ensure high-quality releases in a fast-paced setting.

A strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and independence are essential. The role focuses on building automated tests for API, UI, and microservices, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines in AWS, and mentoring junior QA teammates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on QA automation experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, WebdriverIO, or similar tools.
• Strong expertise in API automation (Postman, Newman, SuperTest).
• Experience with AWS services (CloudWatch, S3, Lambdas, API Gateway, EC2).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Understanding of E2E testing strategies and QA best practices.

Responsibilities

• Own, maintain, and expand end-to-end automation test suites.
• Design, develop, and execute automated tests across API, UI, microservices, and integration layers.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines in an AWS environment.
• Investigate test failures and provide clear debugging feedback to engineering teams.
• Mentor junior QA team members when needed.
