Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
• Experience developing automated testing for cloud-native software in AWS.
• Proficiency with DevOps practices and automated validation/deployment tech.
• Expertise in API testing and UI automation frameworks (Pylenium, Selenium, Appium).
• Knowledge of QA automation standards, tools, and reporting.
• Ability to generate data for testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; root-cause analysis.
• Proficient in Jira and test-case management.
• Strong collaboration and SDLC/Agile understanding.
• Experience with Scrum & Kanban.
• Proficiency with Pylenium, Locust, Postman, MS SQL/PostgreSQL, AWS testing, React/TypeScript, Swift, Android, Data validation, C#, Python, HTML/XML/CSS/JS, REST API, JSON, PHP, Entity Framework, Azure DevOps and Git.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive test strategy and plans across projects.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites for unit, integration, UI, backend, and data validation tests.
• Coordinate QA needs with product owners, developers, and stakeholders; define acceptance criteria.
• Oversee test execution across phases; ensure thorough coverage.
• Define automation development plans, including scoping, scheduling, and metrics.
• Document defects with clear descriptions; work with developers to prioritize fixes.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency and quality.
• Generate detailed test reports; communicate risks and mitigation plans.
