This role combines advanced test automation, API validation, cloud testing, and emerging AI technologies to ensure the delivery of reliable, scalable, and high-performing solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Python-based automation frameworks, API testing, cloud platforms, and modern AI-enabled development tools while collaborating closely with product, engineering, and operations teams.

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer - API Testing, Python & AI, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and executing robust automation solutions that support complex enterprise applications hosted in cloud environments. You will leverage Python, PyTest, API testing tools, and AI-enabled technologies such as Amazon Bedrock and GitHub Copilot to enhance testing efficiency, improve software quality, and accelerate delivery cycles.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help define test strategies, validate end-to-end integrations, and ensure applications perform reliably across AWS and Azure environments. This position also offers the opportunity to contribute to quality engineering best practices, guide offshore testing efforts, and support business solutions within the transportation, waste management, and sustainability domains.

The annual salary for this position is between $53,000 - $92,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
