Job summary

2K Vegas seeks an experienced Technical Test Analyst to join its Montreal-based automation team embedded within a game studio. You will be responsible for the technical evolution and support of test scripting and automation systems for a major AAA game.

This role requires a technical professional with 4+ years in QA who excels in implementing test automation. You will extend automations to address complex tests and ensure reliable insights into game state and performance.

Qualifications

• More than 4 years of professional experience in software testing or quality engineering.
• More than 2 years of hands-on experience focused on automation programming and test scripting.
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Java, Python, C#, Bash, Lua, PowerShell, etc.
• Ability to extend and maintain test coverage using automation tools or frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or JUnit.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a close attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complex Test Implementation: Design and script sophisticated automated tests for highly complex game systems. Expand automation coverage where manual testing is insufficient or inefficient.
• Automation Scripting and Support: Extend and evolve existing automated test scripts as game features evolve.
• Technical Defect Analysis: Investigate complex issues by analyzing automation logs and diagnostic data, documenting automated reproduction steps.
• Pipeline Maintenance: Monitor the health of the automation pipeline within CI/CD systems to ensure stable results.
• Technical Consultation: Advise the studio on utilizing automation tools and translating requirements into technical specs.
