Job summary

Centstone is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer in Minnesota with remote work options to lead and implement enterprise automation frameworks. You will design scalable test systems, drive API and UI validation, and mentor junior engineers in a collaborative, cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and executing automated testing for large-scale enterprise applications.
• Minimum 5+ years with Java and Selenium, OO programming, and automation framework development.
• Minimum 3+ years integrating automated testing with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Jenkins.
• Minimum 5+ years SQL experience, including database queries, data validation, and automated database testing.
• Strong experience with web application testing, REST API automation, regression testing, test framework architecture, and Agile/DevOps quality engineering practices.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to provide technical leadership and hands-on expertise in designing, developing, modernizing, and maintaining enterprise test automation frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Java, Selenium, automation framework development, API testing, SQL, database validation, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines. This position requires advanced automation engineering skills along with the ability to establish reusable architecture, improve existing frameworks, and collaborate across development, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Automation Architecture, framework modernization, IBM ETM/QM/CLM, performance testing, SAP-style or other complex enterprise environments, and highly regulated applications is preferred. Experience supporting government, healthcare, human services, or public-sector systems is strongly preferred.
