Job summary

SPD Technology is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our remote team. You will design, implement and maintain automated tests for API, UI, and end-to-end validation, collaborating with QA and development teams to improve test coverage and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in automation, strong Java 8+, JavaScript/TypeScript, CI/CD, Docker, Linux, Git/GitLab, and upper-intermediate English. Remote work with flexible scheduling and international collaboration are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Automation QA Engineer.
• Proficiency with Java 8+ (21 is an advantage).
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Docker containerization and Linux platforms.
• Experience with Git, GitLab or similar dev tools.
• Upper-intermediate level of English.

Our technology fuses active biological and solid state elements to bring single molecule based sequence detection to scale. Developing this unique platform requires expertise across a range of fields including Software Engineering, Bioinformatics, Computational Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Biology, Chemistry and related fields. As a Senior Software Developer in Test, you will have the opportunity to work with experts in these fields to drive toward the common goal of bringing our sequencing platform to market. You will be responsible for test design, development, automation, deployment, execution, and reporting.
