Job summary

Beacon Hill in the Richmond area is actively seeking a seasoned QA professional for a remote EST, 12+ month contract with potential to convert to permanent. The role centers on heavy manual testing across enterprise and compliance applications, while supporting automated testing efforts (20–30% workload).

You will execute functional, regression, integration and UAT testing, and create and maintain test cases, plans, and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience.
• Workday experience is a must.
• Strong manual testing background (80% manual, 20% automation).
• Some automation testing.
• Experience supporting legacy system enhancements and requests in PeopleSoft.
• Experience testing SaaS-based applications.
• Experience with EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) platforms.
• SQL experience for data validation and backend testing.
• Compliance application testing experience.
• Exposure to test automation tools and frameworks.

Position Description

• Perform heavy manual testing across enterprise and compliance applications
• Support automated testing efforts (20-30% of workload)
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing

• Perform data validation and troubleshooting using SQL
• Test and support Workday, Archer, SaaS, EPM, and other enterprise applications
• Work closely with business users, developers, and project teams
• Identify risks, issues, and testing gaps proactively
• Help drive projects forward with minimal oversight
• Adapt quickly as new initiatives and priorities emerge
• Respond with urgency to support critical business initiatives
• Learn new applications and support additional tools as business needs evolve
