Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group is seeking a QA professional for a remote, EST-based 12+ month contract to support enterprise and compliance applications. The role emphasizes heavy manual testing with some automation and Workday expertise.

You will validate enhancements, defects, and production fixes across SaaS, PeopleSoft and EPM platforms, performing data validation with SQL and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience in enterprise or compliance apps.
• Must have Workday experience with testing focus.
• Strong manual testing background; some automation work.
• Experience supporting legacy systems (PeopleSoft) and SaaS apps.
• Experience with EPM platforms and backend data validation via SQL.
• Exposure to test automation tools and frameworks.

Responsibilities

Position Description

• Perform heavy manual testing across enterprise and compliance applications
• Support automated testing efforts (20-30% of workload)
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
• Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and testing documentation
• Validate enhancements, defects, and production fixes
• Support ongoing testing and legacy system requests within PeopleSoft
• Perform data validation and troubleshooting using SQL
• Test and support Workday, Archer, SaaS, EPM, and other enterprise applications
• Work closely with business users, developers, and project teams
• Identify risks, issues, and testing gaps proactively
• Help drive projects forward with minimal oversight
• Adapt quickly as new initiatives and priorities emerge
• Respond with urgency to support critical business initiatives
• Learn new applications and support additional tools as business needs evolve

Required Skills

• 5+ years of QA experience
• Workday experience is a must
• Strong manual testing background (80% manual, 20% automation)
• Some automation testing
• Experience supporting legacy system enhancements and requests in PeopleSoft
• Experience testing SaaS-based applications
• Experience with EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) platforms
• SQL experience for data validation and backend testing
• Compliance application testing experience
• Exposure to test automation tools and frameworks
