Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a QA professional for a remote EST contract (12+ months) with potential to convert. The role emphasizes heavy manual testing across enterprise and compliance applications, with support for automation and Workday testing.

You will create and maintain test cases, validate enhancements and defects, and perform data validation using SQL while collaborating closely with business users, developers, and project teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience.
• Workday experience is a must.
• Strong manual testing background (80% manual, 20% automation).
• Some automation testing.
• Experience supporting legacy system enhancements and requests in PeopleSoft.
• Experience testing SaaS-based applications.
• Experience with EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) platforms.
• SQL experience for data validation and backend testing.
• Compliance application testing experience.
• Exposure to test automation tools and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy manual testing across enterprise and compliance applications.
• Support automated testing efforts (20-30% of workload).
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
• Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and testing documentation.
• Validate enhancements, defects, and production fixes.
• Support ongoing testing and legacy system requests within PeopleSoft.
• Perform data validation and troubleshooting using SQL.
• Test and support Workday, Archer, SaaS, EPM, and other enterprise applications.
• Work closely with business users, developers, and project teams.
• Identify risks, issues, and testing gaps proactively.
• Help drive projects forward with minimal oversight.
• Adapt quickly as new initiatives and priorities emerge.
• Respond with urgency to support critical business initiatives.
• Learn new applications and support additional tools as business needs evolve.
