Job summary

Lancesoft in New York, NY seeks a senior Python developer to help build a firmwide AI Development Platform and drive adoption of AI capabilities across the enterprise. You will design and maintain production-grade Python applications, APIs, and libraries, with a platform mindset and emphasis on modular, testable code.

The role requires hands-on experience with Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD (Jenkins) and modern software delivery practices.

Qualifications

10+ years in software engineering, design and development.
5+ years building and maintaining production Python apps or libraries with idiomatic Python and tests.
Experience in production development in Java or C# with strong design principles.
Strong APIs/SDKs design experience and modular, well-tested code.
Understanding of DI, data structures, and maintainable software design.
Familiarity with TDD, unit/integration testing and CI/CD (Jenkins).
Experience with Kubernetes workloads and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

Develop tooling and self-service capabilities for deploying AI solutions using Kubernetes, Python, APIs, and REST frameworks.
Build reusable platform components to scale Generative AI use cases and model deployments.
Integrate with vector stores for embeddings and AI capabilities.
Define best practices for Generative AI ecosystems and tooling (GPT, Llama, LangChain).
Contribute to agentic orchestration and agent builder frameworks; participate in Agile ceremonies.
