Job summary

Amiseq Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer to lead delivery and continuous improvement of enterprise web applications. You will work hands-on across Python services, React interfaces, databases, and AWS.

You will translate business needs into solid technical designs, define components, and document implementations. The role combines coding with technical guidance and requires strong backend and frontend skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong practical experience developing backend functionality in Python using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Hands-on experience building web interfaces with React.js.
• Strong SQL skills with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience using AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway).
• Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into actionable technical solutions by clarifying requirements, evaluating impacts, and estimating development effort.
• Define application and component designs with engineering specifications and implementation documentation.
• Develop Python-based services and REST endpoints, create responsive React interfaces, and implement SQL components.
• Build and maintain applications using AWS services with attention to performance and scalability.
