Job summary

The National Black MBA Association seeks a Software Engineer to advance our Finance & Investments Technology initiatives. You will design, evolve, and scale ETL frameworks and data pipelines, integrating REST APIs, SDKs, databases, and cloud services, while ensuring secure, robust production systems.

You will mentor engineers, drive technical standards, and collaborate with architecture, security, and product leaders to deliver reliable, compliant software solutions.

Qualifications

• Advanced Python and ETL framework design and maintainable pipelines.
• API integration with REST APIs, SDKs, databases and cloud services.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, schema mapping, and data quality principles.
• Experience with containers, CI/CD, observability, and cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, Harmonia).
• Lead design decisions, mentor engineers, document standards, and use GitHub Copilot with VS Code responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve the ETL framework with reusable patterns.
• Build and support data integrations with third-party APIs, SDKs, databases, files, and cloud services.
• Implement reliable data transformations and loads with delta processing and upserts.
• Drive production readiness with testing, CI/CD, containerized execution, data quality controls, monitoring, SLAs.
• Lead engineering team through architecture reviews and mentoring.
