Job summary
JIT Global Freight Solution P Ltd seeks a Python Engineer with PySpark and Azure experience for a Charlotte, NC hybrid role. Focused on building a strategic data platform for investment banks, you will work with the Data Strategy team to design reference data systems and pricing data, leveraging Azure cloud services.
The role requires 10+ years in software development with Python and PySpark, and strong Azure data engineering expertise.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of Python and PySpark software development experience.
- Proven Data Engineer experience on Azure cloud.
- Experience building data platforms for financial services is a plus.
- Strong SQL skills with either RDBMS or NoSQL databases.
- Experience developing APIs using Python (FastAPI or similar).
- Familiarity with DevOps lifecycle and CI/CD processes.
- ETL/ELT design and implementation experience.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to design and development of a strategic data platform for investment banks.
- Collaborate with Data Strategy and client teams across Capital Markets and securities entities.
- Establish a reference data system for securities and pricing data.
- Implement Azure-based data solutions following internal standards.
