Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) is seeking a Senior Python Developer to design and maintain data-driven software using Python, SQL, and modern web technologies. You will build interactive reporting using Plotly Dash, D3.js, and AG Grid, integrate with Airflow DAGs, and expand our Django-based web apps.

Collaborating with cyber teams, you will optimize performance, ensure secure coding, and mentor 2–3 junior developers while upholding engineering best practices in a Linux-based infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 8-10+ years of experience in data engineering and software development with Python and SQL.
• Experience building ETL pipelines and data visualizations with Dash/Plotly.
• Knowledge of Java is a plus; strong understanding of Agile, CI, and testing.
• Experience integrating Django with frontend/back-end technologies and leading juniors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software systems using Python, SQL, Bash, and Javascript.
• Build interactive data reporting and visualizations with Plotly Dash, D3.js, and AG Grid.
• Create and maintain Airflow DAGs and expand Django web applications.
• Mentor 2-3 junior Python developers and collaborate with product teams.
