Job summary

Quantum Technologies. LLC seeks a software engineer to translate requirements into user stories and deliver cloud-native Python applications.

You will interface with Chief Engineer and Technical Leads to implement new functionality and design components aligned with best practices. As part of an Agile team, you will develop web APIs, containerize Python code with Docker, and contribute to robust CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.
• 3–5 years of Python software development experience.
• Experience with PySpark, Pandas and NumPy.
• API development in Python with FastAPI.
• Experience with PyTest and mocking for unit tests.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into user stories and integrate new functionality.
• Build automated testing frameworks to ensure code quality and CI/CD.
• Develop Python web APIs to interface with cloud applications.
• Collaborate in an Agile team to deliver software iteratively.
• Containerize Python code in Docker within a distributed architecture.
• Design software components independently from requirements.
• Guide technical design and architecture for best practices.
• Interface with customer stakeholders to align requirements.
