Job summary

Mastek in the United States seeks a Senior Software Engineer (Python Developer) to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services. You will develop RESTful APIs, data pipelines, and automated CI/CD pipelines, deploying and managing applications on AWS.

You will work with Infrastructure-as-Code (CloudFormation) and collaborate with architects, DevOps, and product teams to ensure reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience designing backend services in Python and building scalable APIs.
• Proficient in data processing pipelines and testing to ensure code quality.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Python.
• Develop RESTful APIs and data processing pipelines.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines (build, test, deployment).
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS.
• Work with IaC (AWS CloudFormation).
• Set up and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and product teams on reliability and performance.
• Ensure code quality through testing, peer reviews, and static analysis.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
