Job summary

ATG Data Solutions seeks an experienced senior backend developer to build scalable web apps and APIs using Python Django. You will design data models, integrate with front-end teams, and lead code reviews to ensure quality. The role requires strong PostgreSQL knowledge, RESTful APIs, and experience with Celery, Docker, and GitHub Actions.

Qualifications

• 5 - 10+ years experience designing appropriate software architecture.
• Extensive experience building web apps and APIs using Python Django.
• Detail oriented with understanding of business processes & data.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and Django Rest Framework.
• Experience with integrations via APIs, performance tuning, caching, queues, logging.
• Experience with Celery and Flower for background jobs.
• Experience with auth, social auth, MFA.
• Experience with GitHub or similar and branching.
• Experience deploying with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
• Experience building and deploying Docker containers.
• Experience with observability and telemetry tools.
• Effective communication to identify priorities and blockers.
• Root cause diagnosis and stable resolutions; mentor teammates.
• Document requirements and estimate work; plan project timelines (agile, waterfall, hybrid).
• Vue 3, BI Platforms, Data Analytics, ML/AI.

Responsibilities

As a Senior level developer, you will build quality and resilient solutions for projects ranging from mobile applications to web-based SaaS applications to enterprise process automation and integration projects. You will work closely with the Product Owner to design APIs, datamodelsand all back-end components to fit theprojectneeds. You will work closely with the front-end web or mobile developer to design APIs. You will conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge. Qualifications:
