Job summary

Citi Spread Products (SP) technology is seeking a highly motivated Python and full-stack/web development professional to support, design and deliver technology solutions for the front office Citi Capital Markets.

You will design, code, test, and implement applications, collaborate across stakeholders, and participate in agile processes. The role requires strong Python skills, front-end/back-end development, and experience with CI/CD pipelines in a fast-paced financial environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Python development with REST APIs and data tools.
• Experience with Pandas/NumPy and Flask REST APIs.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tooling and cloud-ready apps.
• Familiarity with SQL/PLSQL and data workflows.
• Experience with SOA/microservices and container platforms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system requirements and define interfaces between components.
• Support business users on existing applications.
• Design and develop Python solutions with hands-on coding.
• Develop a self-service reporting tool.
• Deploy via CI/CD pipelines and maintain code quality.
• Investigate bugs and optimize performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate on front-end and server-side design and discussions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and estimation.
• Build reusable services and perform unit testing.
