Sharp Decisions is seeking a Python Developer with solid Fixed Income Trading experience to design, develop, and support front-office applications used by trading teams in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on Python-based solutions, trading workflows, and integration with market data and trade processing systems.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of software development experience, hands-on Python scripting, and experience in agile environments, CI/CD, and API/UI automation for trading

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on Python development.
• Knowledge of Fixed Income trading and front-office environments.
• Experience with trading workflows and trade lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications for front-office trading systems.
• Develop Python solutions for trading workflows, trade processing, market data and financial apps.
• Collaborate with Front Office users, Traders, Developers, BAs, and QA teams.
• Support Sales & Trading workflows, including order management and trade lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain API integrations and automated solutions.
• Work with UI and API automation to support trading functionality and reliability.
• Analyze issues, troubleshoot defects, and implement fixes.
• Participate in functional, integration, and regression testing of trading applications.
• Develop technical documentation of functionality and processes.
