Job summary

3Pillar Global is seeking a Senior Data Python + AWS Engineer who will write code and deliver product capabilities for clients. You will develop data extraction, modeling, and visualization solutions as part of a remote-first team with global reach.

You will work with Streamlit/Tableau/Jupyter notebooks to create dashboards, and collaborate with product management and engineering to deliver high-impact data platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building Data Engineer solutions.
• 3+ years Python and SQL with a data focus.
• Experience with data plotting dashboards (Streamlit, Tableau, Jupyter Notebook) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine data ingestion strategies from scientific instruments.
• Develop and deploy parsers for diverse instrument outputs (.xlsx, .pdf, .txt, .raw, .fid, etc.).
• Design robust data models and scalable pipelines with tests and utilities.
• Compare datasets to create shared, extensible data model components.
• Create visualizations and dashboards via Streamlit, Tableau, Jupyter Notebook, and more.
