Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Senior Python Full-Stack Engineer for a fully remote, hourly contract role to design data pipelines, annotation tooling and evaluation systems powering AI training.

You will build high-performance Python services, develop data annotation tooling, and manage asynchronous queues and real-time data delivery via WebSockets, collaborating with data science and engineering teams to accelerate model training and evaluation.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of professional Python experience.
• Experience building production-grade backend systems.
• Experience with asynchronous task queues and real-time data.
• Able to commit 20–40 hours per week remotely.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize Python data pipelines.
• Build full-stack backend services for data annotation.
• Manage asynchronous task queues for long jobs.
• Optimize DB queries for high throughput and use WebSockets.
• Improve reliability and performance of Python code.
• Collaborate with data, research, and Eng teams.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement scalable fixes.
• Participate in design reviews.
