A well-funded AI startup is seeking an experienced backend engineer to design and build intelligent systems. This fully remote role offers autonomy in solving complex technical challenges and includes meaningful equity as part of a competitive compensation package. Candidates should have at least 7 years of experience, preferably in a SaaS environment, with proven skills in Python and data modeling.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years of production experience, preferably in a complex SaaS environment.
• Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining complex backend systems.
• Existing comfort deeply integrating AI tools into workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and build intelligent systems that power the platform.
• Work on computational expression generation and data modeling.
• Make key decisions with a lot of autonomy.

Skills
